Barbaricum provides advanced engineering and analytical support to Department of Defense customers across mission engineering, modeling and simulation, and system integration domains. Our teams support Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane in developing, integrating, and evaluating complex DoD platforms and mission systems operating across multiple domains. We are seeking a Senior MBSE Engineer to support NSWC Crane by developing and maintaining authoritative system and mission models that inform platform architecture, hardware integration, interoperability, and kill-chain execution across operational scenarios, in direct support of test and evaluation activities. The Role The Senior MBSE Engineer applies Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to complex DoD platforms and hardware-centric mission systems composed of sensors, payloads, communications, processing elements, and supporting software. This role supports platform architecture development, System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), and digital thread traceability from mission needs through system verification and validation, with emphasis on enabling and assessing end-to-end kill-chain performance, including EMSO-relevant capabilities.
