About The Position

The internship program is designed for high school graduates, college students, and recent college grads who are walking closely with Jesus and would like to spend the summer working in with the disability community and discipling the next generation. We are looking for interns with a heart for those in the disability community and a desire to serve them and their families well. Ministry involves many types of work, from administrative tasks, to teaching Bible lessons, to planning curriculum and organizing camp outings. As an Access intern, you’ll serve meaningfully in both operations and disciple-making roles during our weekly programing and at our special events. You will also assist with the planning and execution of our Access summer camps and events. Additionally, you will receive intentional training and discipleship from the NextGen team to develop you as a faithful servant of Jesus.

Requirements

  • Walking closely with Jesus
  • Desire to serve the disability community and their families
  • Availability for evening and weekend work
  • Attendance at mandatory orientation on June 7 from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
  • Participation in all Access summer events
  • Participation in one additional NextGen camp over the summer
  • Personal laptop or tablet

Benefits

  • Interns will receive a stipend of $2,500 for the summer to help with basic expenses.
  • Housing may be available for interns who live out of town or don’t have family in the area.
