About The Position
We are seeking an MBA Intern to support our search fund's deal sourcing, evaluation, and due diligence efforts in the education sector. You will gain hands-on experience in the full acquisition lifecycle and have the option to take on an operator role post-acquisition.
Requirements
- Experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate development.
- Strong financial modeling and deal execution skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action.
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate education-focused acquisition opportunities, particularly in tutoring and learning center franchises.
- Lead financial analysis, valuations, and due diligence.
- Negotiate and execute transactions.
- Transition into operational leadership post-close.
- Develop and execute growth strategies, including multi-unit expansion and operational optimization.
