About The Position

Topline Pro is building an AI-native platform for local business owners, such as roofers, landscapers, painters, and cleaners, to help them grow their businesses. The AI platform assists pros in getting work, winning work, doing work, and getting paid repeatedly. The company was co-founded by Nick Ornitz (CEO) and Shannon Kay (COO) and has a team of over 100 employees, with plans for further expansion. Topline Pro serves thousands of local service businesses and has been recognized as a top Tech Company for SMBs in 2023 and 2024. It is YC-backed, well-funded with several years of runway, and has experienced rapid growth, positioning it for significant scale. The company is seeking an ambitious MBA Product Intern to join its tech team in either the Boston or New York office. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a fast-growing company that is reshaping an entire industry by working on a core, agentic product.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing your MBA with 2 - 5 years of work experience
  • User-centric: Passionate about creating great user experiences and products our customers love
  • Ambitious: Desire to invent new features that change the game for our customers and deliver incredible business impact
  • Data-driven: Dedicated to tracking and measuring performance, using analytics to uncover deep insights, and deploying hypothesis-driven experiments when applicable
  • Resourceful: Willing to get scrappy to validate concepts and deliver results in an early stage environment
  • Clear communicator: Ability to articulate priorities and keep alignment across the organization amidst a hypergrowth environment

Nice To Haves

  • 1 - 2 years of user-facing experience for a technology product is preferred (in roles like product, design, research, customer success, sales)

Responsibilities

  • Work with our product team on a specific, summer-long project to build high-impact features that our users love
  • Discover, plan, and develop both the near term roadmap and long term vision for this new problem space and feature
  • Successfully ship the first version of this new solution and drive adoption in collaboration with colleagues in sales, marketing, and customer success
  • Get to understand our customers through continuous user research and collaboration across the business
  • Effectively communicate and document progress + learnings across the organization prior to the end of your internship
