About The Position

As a Product Pricing & Commercialization Intern, you will join our world-class Commercialization team to help shape the monetization strategies that power Databricks’ hyper-growth. During your 12-week internship, you’ll lead high-impact projects—from designing pricing for new AI innovations to optimizing our global commercial frameworks—with opportunities for full-time employment within the team the following year. Throughout the internship, you will be mentored by a dedicated sponsor and have the opportunity to connect with senior leaders across the organization.

Requirements

  • You will graduate from an MBA program in Spring 2027.
  • You have 3-5 years of previous professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, strategy, operations, business analysis, or related fields.
  • You demonstrate an advanced ability to define and break down ambiguous and complex business problems with limited guidance
  • You are an excellent communicator (both written and oral), with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, insightful takeaways and action-oriented recommendations.
  • You put the team before yourself and are willing to get hands-on, no matter how small the task

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in enterprise software and cloud platforms preferred.
  • Previous experience with SQL preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategic Projects: Own a high-priority monetization project from data-driven research to recommendation, such as defining the pricing for a new feature,evaluating a new market segment, and understanding competitor pricing models
  • Inform High-Stakes Decisions: Provide the analytical rigor,data-driven insights, and first-principles thinking that shape commercial thinking for product areas with significant revenue potential.
  • Communicate with Clarity: Author insightful documents (e.g., internal strategy papers or Business Requirements Documents) that synthesize complex ideas for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Enable the Field: Collaborate on creating product documentation and sales enablement content to ensure our field teams can effectively communicate Databricks’ value to customers.
  • Influence the Roadmap: Work across the Pricing and Product teams to understand the cross-portfolio consequences of pricing decisions, ensuring alignment across the product platform and CSP partnerships (AWS, Azure, GCP).
