About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Mazak Vertical/Horizontal Machinist (Mazatrol Programming) for a project located in Sheboygan Falls, WI. This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is up to $37/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Program, set up, and run a variety of Mazak machine tools using Mazatrol programming. Work from blueprints and job specifications to plan efficient manufacturing processes. Measure and verify part dimensions using precision measuring tools. Safely use overhead cranes to move large parts and materials. Maintain machine shop equipment and perform routine maintenance. Train and assist coworkers in the proper and safe operation of equipment. Collaborate in person with team members to pro-actively resolve issues. Occasionally perform deburring and assist in improving manufacturing procedures.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of machinist experience (job shop experience is mandatory).
  • Strong working knowledge of Mazatrol or similar CNC machine programming software.
  • Must be able to program and edit Mazatrol programs (non-programmers will not be considered).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and routings.
  • Proficient in performing metric conversions and geometric calculations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
