We’re hiring a Center Director to lead daily operations at one of our Mathnasium learning centers—a role that blends sales, team leadership, customer service, and community engagement. This is an hourly entry-level management position ideal for someone with a background in face-to-face sales and a passion for helping kids succeed. What is Mathnasium? Mathnasium is a global leader in supplemental math education for students in grades 2–12. Using our proprietary teaching method, we make math make sense to kids—boosting their confidence and academic performance. With over 1,200 locations worldwide, our mission is to help every child understand and master math.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience (face-to-face preferred)
  • 1+ year of management or team leadership experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • Passion for education and helping children grow

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Team: Manage and motivate a staff of 5–6 instructors, ensuring high-quality instruction and team accountability.
  • Sales & Enrollment: Drive center growth through face-to-face sales presentations, enrollment conversations, and relationship-building with parents.
  • Customer Experience: Create a fun, safe, and engaging environment where students love to learn and parents feel confident in the program.
  • Local Marketing: Represent Mathnasium in the community through outreach at schools, events, and other local opportunities.
  • Operations: Oversee the day-to-day running of the center—scheduling, performance feedback, strategy, and problem-solving—while being supported by a District Manager.
