CMCC - Mathematics Faculty
About The Position
This full-time, on-campus faculty position in the mathematics department will begin with the Spring 2026 semester. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a combination of day, evening, and online courses, including statistics, algebra-based, and calculus-based classes. While these are the current teaching assignments, they are subject to change based on department needs. Teaching load is governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which currently requires a workload of 15 contact hours. In addition to teaching, the faculty member will actively contribute to curriculum development and will also provide academic advising to students.
Requirements
- Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, or physical science with mathematics teaching experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching college-level mathematics
- Experience in a community college environment
- Experience with Brightspace or other Learning Management Systems
- Experience advising college-level students
