About The Position
Bishop Ireton High School has an opening for a full-time Math teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at our campus in Alexandria, Virginia. Candidates should be able to teach upper level math courses with opportunities as well with Algebra and Geometry. Bishop Ireton, a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory high school in historic Alexandria, Virginia, began its proud heritage of academic excellence in 1964. Requirements
- demonstrate professionalism in a collaborative environment
- have strong communication skills
- possess a bachelor's degree in mathematics or secondary education mathematics
- possess or be willing to obtain a Virginia teaching license or VCEA license
- possess required citizenship, residency or work visa
- promote the Catholic mission of the school
- Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check and take required in-person Virtus training.
