It was the first public school for the blind in the United States. Today, more than 100 Ohio blind and visually impaired students receive their education each year at OSSB. The Ohio State School for the Blind is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher responsible for educating students in a well-managed and creative classroom based on research-based principles and student data for the following content area: Math Teacher - Instructs students in Math (grades 7-12).

Requirements

• Must maintain valid Ohio teaching licensure for grade level, subject area or special class assignment AND Intervention Specialist (K-12) - Visual Impairments.
• Intervention Specialist (K-12) - Visual Impairments certification/licensure may be attained within two years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Instructs students in Math (grades 7-12).
