About The Position

Are you good at math and passionate about helping kids succeed? We want you on our team! We’re hiring Math Instructors for the 2025–2026 school year. About the Role: We’re looking for bright, ambitious individuals with an enthusiastic and outgoing personality, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of math concepts. As a Mathnasium Instructor, you’ll work in a supportive team environment and receive comprehensive training on our proprietary Mathnasium Method. You’ll deliver engaging and effective math instruction to students of all ages in a small-group setting. You’ll help foster a positive learning experience, interact with students and parents to build confidence and demonstrate the value of the program, and support student progress tracking in collaboration with the Center Director and fellow team members.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of arithmetic and algebra
• Excellent work ethic
• Willingness to learn
• Within one year of earning your high school diploma
• Available to work at least 3 weekdays (4 preferred)
• Must be available to work for a minimum of six months

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children as a tutor, teacher, or instructor
• Pursuing a degree in education, math, science, or a related field
• Ability to teach up to Algebra 1 (Geometry is a plus)
• Strong classroom or group management skills
• Ability to build rapport with students and parents
• Clear communication skills with students, families, and team members
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Leadership experience is a plus
