Our committed and well-trained workforce professionals deliver comprehensive workforce solutions at integrated career centers, sector-focused centers and community, and partner sites. •Maine State Teaching Certificate Required Successfully implement youth work readiness and life skill curriculum • Administer surveys and tests • Maintain accurate participant records and case notes and provide programmatic reports • Identify training needs of youth by evaluating strengths and challenges • Participate in refining existing curriculum, as needed, and developing new curriculum for other identified skills • Develop hands on activities, instructional materials, handouts, and visual aids to facilitate learning • Periodically assess training effectiveness to ensure that youth have learned the skills and to ensure the effectiveness of the program • Provide regular 1:1 coaching to youth participants to ensure their learning outcomes • Develop ‘train the trainer' modules on topics in the curriculum • Discuss training progress with project staff on a regular basis • Assist in modeling and teaching professionalism appropriate in the workplace and communication for youth participants • Support program recruitment needs • Collaborate with various community partners to provide youth-centric workshops and trainings • Oversee the agency GED testing site, including admitting participants, managing online calendar, processing tests, filing documentation, and proctoring test (training will be provided) • Perform other duties as assigned
