GCU Traditional Campus - Phoenix, AZ: Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Spring 2026 Semester (01/05/2025 - 04/26/2025) Course: Math Applications This course covers basic math concepts and operations with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, integers, and rational numbers, proportions, and percentages. Other concepts include algebraic equations, basic trigonometry, and the application of math and its use in the real world.
Requirements
- Minimum: MS in Mathematics with Secondary Education certification, MS in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Teaching Mathematics possessing a secondary education license OR
- an MS in Physics, MS in Engineering.
- Your unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above
- Your unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees
Nice To Haves
- Preferred: PhD Mathematics with Secondary Education certification, PhD in Physics, or PhD in any Engineering field.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
