This position is in the Administration team of Administrative Services – Materiel Division. A diverse list of administrative responsibilities includes asset management, supply inventory, invoice processing, managing a barcode scanner loaner program, assisting with the State Recycling Program and other areas of surplus property, handling inquiries and email/phone communication with a variety of customers varying from other agency public servants to public citizens and vendors, and posting to the agency website using Dreamweaver. This position provides general administrative support to a diverse team that include State Purchasing Bureau, Surplus Property, State Print and Copy Services and the State Mail Center. Duties will include providing support for the management team in the areas of procurement, asset management, surplus and recycling as well as general support for teammates as the coordinator for supplies, IT, and communication needs. This position will also back-up other support staff in the area of procurement and assist with other projects as needed. This position is located at 1526 K St., Lincoln, NE. Work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A flexible work schedule may be available for the right candidate.
