This Materials Support Specialist role is critical to maintaining Turnaround Time (TAT) requirements and ensuring the smooth logistical flow of aircraft parts within the Sustainment and Support team. The specialist will be responsible for the daily execution of quotes, database reconciliation, and supplier dashboard management within the MMAPS project and SAP environment. Note: This position requires access to export-controlled technology and is open only to U.S. Persons (8 USC 1324b(a)(3)) or individuals authorized by the U.S. Government. Company sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

• Advanced experience with Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) and the ability to navigate complex databases.
• A keen eye for identifying data inconsistencies that others might miss.
• Ability to work independently to research and resolve issues without constant supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with SAP or a similar Material Management and Parts System.
• Practical knowledge and skills using Structured Query Language to manage data bases and write queries for data retrieval, updates and database management tasks.

Responsibilities

• Proactively process quotes to meet strict turn-around time targets.
• Execute morning uploads and ensure data consistency across multiple internal databases.
• Perform routine SAP transactions, including PO reconciliation and status updates.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in warehouse data to ensure parts are moving accurately through the system.
• Process scrap updates and clear lingering items in SAP.
• Support the Rotable Business Unit forecast to align part availability with future demand.
• Manage and update Supplier Dashboards (Part 1 & 2) to maintain high-quality vendor standards.
• Expedite customs requests to prevent shipping delays for international logistics.
• Process ad-hoc surplus requests as required by the mission.
