The Materials Supervisor is responsible for Leading a team of Buyer/Planners to develop production/supply plans that consider forecasts, availability of materials, manufacturing capacity while meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI). This position reports to the Operations Director and is part of the Operations department located in San Jose, CA . In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Be responsible for identifying and maintaining the appropriate planning parameters in ERP systems to optimize subassembly production and raw material supply plans. Be responsible for providing materials to manufacturing areas based on planned production schedules and for the appropriate shipping of finished goods to various distribution centers utilizing material handling equipment in support of management policies for customer delivery and inventory levels Be responsible for inventory control with use of Kanban avoiding under and over design levels. Take on additional responsibilities from Operations management

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain as Planner, Buyer, Master Scheduler or similar capacity
Experience as a People Leader with proven ability of effective communication with direct reports and leadership
High school diploma or GED required; advance degree preferred

Nice To Haves

Preferred to have experience using Kanban, Root Cause Analysis, and 5S
Preferred to have experience as a Data Analyst

The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000.
This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
