Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America) Material Specialist Job Description and Requirements: Flexible shift assignment Flexible work assignments Mail room Distribution Medical Supply Room Stock Maintenance Receiving (loading dock) Regular communication with management regarding stock levels and inventory issues Daily Supply Room stocking responsibilities Keep storage area clean and organized Accurate stock level count Follow stock rotation guidelines to minimize expired stock Monitor and review stock and remove expired stock Effectively utilize supply inventory system tools to ensure supply availability Replenish supply/equipment areas according to established par levels Notify management of out of stock, supply utilization or other change Mailroom responsibilities Collect and prepare correspondence to be mailed (e.g., applying for appropriate stamps, verifying addresses) Track mailroom supplies for Pitney Bowes machine Screening and sorting incoming mail and packages Other warehouse duties as requested by management Required Experience: High School or GED. (Asscoc degree?) Valid driver’s license Demonstrated ability to use computer and hand devices Knowledge of basic inventory control concept and proven ability to perform accurate record keeping. Demonstrated ability to understand and perform mailroom sorting and delivery functions Power jack, manual jack and hi - lo experience required Ability to drive a truck Physical Requirements: Lift up to 25 lbs. with the occasion lifting of up to 50 lbs.
