About The Position

Moteurs Baudouin, a Wechai America Company, is rapidly evolving its business in North America. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Materials Specialist to support daily warehouse, receiving, and internal logistics operations at our Rolling Meadows headquarters. This role is responsible for safely unloading, stocking, storing, moving, and distributing parts, engines, and materials to support warehouse operations, service operations, and outbound shipments. The ideal candidate brings hands-on warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and commitment to safety and operational excellence. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Associates diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 months of warehouse, receiving, shipping, or material-handling experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Forklift certification, or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic documents such as packing lists, work orders, and inventory forms.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and scanning.

  • Experience handling industrial or mechanical parts.
  • Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load, unload, store, and move incoming parts, engines, and materials.
  • Receive, verify, and document inbound shipments using company systems.
  • Perform picking, packing, staging, and shipping tasks for outbound orders.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts, stock rotation, and overall inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and housekeeping in accordance with corporate standards.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Identify and report damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety concerns.
  • Support service operations by pulling parts, preparing kits, and staging equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and WAC warehouse policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations.
