Requirements

  • Computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Regularly use hands for handling objects and talk or hear; frequently stand, walk, reach, lift, stoop, and bend.
  • Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly for object movement.
  • Exertional requirements include pushing/pulling supply carts with up to 100 pounds of force daily; specific vision abilities required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary backup for Shipper/Receiver in a flexible per diem support role.
  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of MMIS, independently managing all related tasks.
  • Efficiently process daily scanning, incoming deliveries, and prioritize urgent or specialized shipments.
  • Work with Volunteer and Per Diem staff and promptly address shipping/receiving discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with departments for inventory adjustments, maintain labeled shelves, and manage expiration dates.
  • Conduct cycle counts, ensure cleanliness in work areas, and cross-train for additional departmental support.
  • Adhere to safety practices, contribute to the SDS Program, and participate in ongoing education and development.

  • Other duties as assigned.
