About The Position

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for proving and problem-solving tool capability of new or current production tooling. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation. · Document results and provide the information in a clear and concise format to the requesting personnel; maintain records, prepare and submit required or requested reports. · Operate required laboratory equipment including but not limited to compounding, mixing, milling, sample, prep and molding. · Assist in the maintenance of laboratory warehouse and inventory control of materials. · Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to the appropriate manager. · Maintain work area in a safe, neat and orderly condition. · Must be willing to follow company directives including but not limited to; 5S, visual factory and lean manufacturing techniques. · Assist in the resolution of technical issues with the guidance of technical representatives. · Perform other duties as required or requested.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; or 1 to 3 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Must have good basic math and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have good technical and leadership skills.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills to coordinate projects/activities and communicate effectively with all groups including but not limited to Quality, Operations, and Technical.
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP software.
