About The Position

Join us as a Materials Program Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and implementing cutting-edge supply chain solutions that drive innovation, quality, and efficiency, while shaping the future of Intel's technology roadmap. The Factory Chemical and Materials team within the Global Operations organization is seeking a dynamic and driven Materials Program Manager with expertise in Supply Chain Management. The Materials Program Manager is an integral connection between the US Factory Stakeholders and the direct materials suppliers, ensuring availability and cost competitive solutions in support of factory operations. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Translating manufacturing, market dynamics, and business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics as they relate to bills of materials risk assessment/mitigation, inventory health/optimization, streamlined/reliable supply chain and the total cost to business • Deliver an uninterrupted supply of scope-aligned gases, chemicals, or direct materials to the US factory network (Oregon, Arizona, and New Mexico) • Operationalization of procurement methods to manage and optimize inventory, forecasting, and delivery • Driving operational response and closure to material escalations, inventory risk, and supply chain impacts • Coordination and monitoring the acquisition of materials in support of New Product Introduction (NPI) programs/projects and ramp readiness for seamless transition to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) • Close collaboration with suppliers to execute contractual requirements, perform to KPI metrics, and deliver performance, cost savings, and future operational strategies • Close collaboration with cross functional staff across project/program management, engineering, supply chain, including commodity professionals/purchasing and manufacturing teams, to define customer demand and early raw materials requirements, influence supplier and component selections, and drive planning and procurement activities at both product and cross product platform levels • Ensuring that bills of materials integrity, materials availability, cost, and quality goals are set and successfully achieved • Providing assessments/status to stakeholders at multiple levels, establishes contingency and gap closure plans, and closely monitors program indicators • Analyzing data to run daily operations of the supply chain as well as develop and design solutions for complex processes • Participation in the development and improvement of systems and tools to drive efficiencies across the organization • Working with cross organizational teams to drive forward looking supply chain solutions • Managing suppliers to achieve on time delivery and cycle time performance, resolution of material escalations, Bills of Materials (BOM) cost benchmarking/optimization, Engineering Change Order (ECO) change closure, new site startup, and liability settlements • Ensuring tight linkages to each business unit's production requirements to enable output maximization while balancing cost and inventory control The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: • Key skillsets: a combination of business acumen, technical depth, organizational savvy and networking capabilities including exemplary communication skills to get results across multiple groups and disciplines • Candidate should show strong Influencing capabilities outside of direct responsibilities • Demonstrable experience driving complex business deals from conceptions, through negotiations to contract closure and supply ramp, including collaboration with engineering, legal, finance and supply chain operations • Communication, coordination, organizational and multitasking experience • Cross-Functional Collaboration

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, related field of study.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience working with chemicals, gases, or direct materials
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and negotiation skills.
  • 1+ years of experience with Data acumen skills: Excel, Power BI (or related), and data proficiency.
  • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience working with chemicals, gases, or direct materials
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management and negotiation skills.
  • 3+years of experience with Data acumen skills: Excel, Power BI (or related), and data proficiency.
