External applicants must be eligible to work in the US. Your Role: In this role you are responsible for overseeing warehousing, shipping, receiving and materials handling.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of work experience in materials management within an FDA regulated facility.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality compliance and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains SOP’s and completes required revisions.
  • Maintains warehouse to an acceptable compliance level for financial and GMP, State Agency audits.
  • Ensures GMP compliance using FDA guidelines.
  • Follows up on audit observations with acceptable corrective actions.
  • Completes inventory transactions, pick lists and sales order fulfillment transactions in a timely manner for GMP and financial purposes.
  • Responsible for GMP inventory of up to $20 million.
  • Monitors GMP and non-GMP inventory to maintain appropriate levels to avoid delays in production scheduling.
  • Maintains adequate storage space in the freezers and cold boxes to avoid delays in production scheduling.
  • Completes monthly and annual physical inventory for financial requirements.
  • Orders adequate inventory from off-site warehouse to avoid delays in production scheduling.
  • Coordinates the return of rejected items back to the vendor.
  • Ensures IDEM and IATA compliance for shipment and storage of Dangerous Goods, HAZMAT and Medical Waste materials.
  • Ensures Sarbanes-Oxley and Financial compliance using input given by various financial internal and external auditing groups, Finance, Cost Accounting and Planning & Logistics Departments.
  • Records maintenance of all financial and GMP documents for auditing requirements.
  • Supervises a staff of 4-5 Material Technicians.
