Reporting to the Lead - Supply Chain Management, the Materials Management Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities in the site Logistics and Supply Chain Department, with a focus on the supply needs for front-line healthcare. The incumbent acts in a supervisory capacity and ensures adequate levels of supplies and equipment are maintained and accessible to units and departments. The incumbent exercises the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.
