About The Position

Ortonville Area Health Services seeks a Materials Management Clerk to join our Purchasing team. The Materials Management Clerk plays a key role in keeping OAHS running smoothly by ensuring all supplies, equipment, and materials are accurately received, documented, stored, and delivered to departments across the organization. As part of a highly collaborative, customer service driven department, the clerk helps maintain efficient operations and supports the quality of care delivered throughout OAHS.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer proficiency required; experience with MS Office and willingness to learn new systems

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of medical supplies, inventory practices, refrigerated storage, and hazardous materials is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming supplies, and equipment for accuracy and condition.
  • Store supplies in designated areas following proper handling, rotation, and temperature requirements.
  • Review, fill, and deliver stock and non-stock requisitions to departments in a timely manner.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring stock levels, adjusting counts, processing returns, and checking for outdated items.
  • Participate in periodic physical inventory counts and special projects within the department.
  • Uphold OAHS standards for professionalism, communication, safety, and compliance while working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
