The Material Management Clerk II is responsible for providing materials management services to all Clinic departments and staff. Includes activities associated with inventory supply management, distribution and receiving functions. Job Relationships Reports to Manager, Supply Chain Logistics and Materials Management Principal Responsibilities Verify receipts, note damages and shortages, and complete appropriate documentation. Pack and deliver goods from central distribution center to appropriate departments/areas. Utilize handheld scanning technology to receive, track and process multiple inventories in a large distribution center environment. Learn to manage a perpetual inventory, including daily recounting and documentation to maintain precise inventory controls. Become certified in reach forklift operations, as well as skilled in the use of powered pallet jacks, powered pallet stackers and other specialized warehouse equipment. Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures. Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy. Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards. Perform other job duties as assigned.
