Requirements

  • Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in a Supply Chain or Operations discipline or a related field.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as the position may involve access to systems/tools restricted to U.S. citizens.
  • Local to Columbus, GA, and willing to commute onsite five days a week.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and resolve production issues with internal operations and vendors.
  • Develop processes, systems, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for use by shop logistics and materials teams, including:
  • Tracking production adherence and attainment.
  • Creating reports to monitor Work In Progress (WIP) and inventory across the value stream.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs, control inventory, and increase efficiency.
  • Utilize lean tools to identify and manage risks, proposing effective risk management solutions.
  • Provide analysis and develop recommendations for corrective actions in response to process failures.
