Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Certified PIV Driver
  • 1+ year of experience in a high volume, high complexity, manufacturing environment
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 35 pounds.
  • Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat.

  • Physically capable of working in a fast-paced, stop-and-go manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Alert, dependable, and safety-focused.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing material handling or similar industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of parts and materials required for production operations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to make quick decisions in support of a process-oriented operation.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment
  • Load/unload product
  • Understand method of locating materials
  • Read a packing list and follow defined shipping/receiving protocols
  • Support execution of PI inventory
  • Disposition of dunnage/recycling
  • Be familiar with UOI’s/POI’s associated with materials
  • Recommend improvements consistently striving for efficient and effective methodologies and maintaining departmental quality standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Perform 5S
  • Other duties as assigned
