The Role: Materials Handler A highly-collaborative role where you, as Materials Handler, will work with your team to ensure that materials are handled safely and efficiently within the organization – thereby supporting MaineGeneral Health’s mission and vision. The Opportunity: MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Materials Handler to join our growing Supply Chain team! Reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain, you are a key player in our overall Supply Chain function! You enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment with a team and leadership who values you, challenges you to grow and provides a fun environment to flex your skills, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

• High School/GED
• Experience in Material Handling/Warehouse work
• Ability to consistently be on time and contribute to a team.

Responsibilities

• Verifies order and review against items to be delivered to ensure accuracy of delivery.
• Deliver requested items or report issues preventing delivery to appropriate persons
• Communicate with internal and external customers regarding inventory levels, availability of supplies, and product identification.
• Manage documentation for distributed inventory
• Maintain work, storage areas, and equipment in an organized, clean, and safe condition.
