About The Position

Performs a full range of warehouse functions as one of the materials handlers in the warehouse. Determines sequences of loading and unloading, develops space utilization plans, and implements movement of materials from dock to storage in automated areas and/or backup areas. Participates in comprehensive inventories as scheduled. Periodically reviews stock based on turnover rate and space availability and recommends increases or decreases as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, handles, and issues supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Routes and expedites movement of parts, supplies, and materials in production facilities.
• Processes receiving reports promptly after receipt to ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Unloads incoming shipments, verifies receipt, and matches shipping documents and receipts.
• Verifies merchandise received fully agrees with description, quantity, etc.
