WSDOT is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 2 to join the Aberdeen Project Engineering Office (PEO), serving as an assistant to the Office Engineer. The Transportation Engineer 2 prepares Plans, Specifications, Estimates, reports, and other documents that will be used to improve the safety, quality, and capacity of State's transportation system. This position supports the department's mission by processing and reviewing submittals for compliance with the above documents, keeping accurate, complete and detailed accounting records, and ensuring accurate and timely payment for work completed. The role contributes to the agency's strategic plan by ensuring, through adherence to WSDOT policies, that work functions performed are administered to the expected quality, safety, and stewardship standards to support Washington's long-term resilience.
