This position is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory and effectively moving products and packages throughout the facility. This role also processes all shipments, prioritizing tasks to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. The individual will be cross-trained in multiple areas within the shipping and receiving team to meet department and business needs. Essential duties include maintaining a safe work environment, performing material services for all departments, customers, and suppliers, verifying inventory counts and transactions, ensuring proper product labeling, packaging, and storage, conducting cycle counting, ordering manufacturing supplies, checking manufacturing orders, and coordinating with manufacturing for product needs. The role also involves receiving, inspecting, and processing paperwork and rejected materials according to ISO procedures, communicating shipment information with internal and external truck lines and suppliers, processing all shipment paperwork, understanding and utilizing the INFOR system for pick lists, packing lists, and shipping procedures, loading trucks efficiently, stocking products, tracking non-inventory items at external warehouses, ensuring shipment quality, inspecting forklifts, trucks, and trailers, processing inventory transactions, adhering to 5S guidelines for facility cleanliness, and assisting in achieving department inventory goals.
