About The Position

Position Overview Responsible for material replenishment programs in support of manufacturing build. Expedites parts to remedy shortage problems. Internally picks-up and delivers materials within company and maintains records on material flow. Ensures incoming materials are properly routed. Develops and maintains resources for assigned commodity items. Responsible for transactions to transfer inventory into warehouse, cycle counting, and other tasks as defined by materials management. Responsibilities

  • Review material positions at all mfg. Kan/Ban replenishment points
  • Deliver material required on a daily basis based on Kan/Ban locations
  • Move FG from work cell to FG stock locations
  • Deliver material between buildings as required
  • Perform transactions to guarantee accuracy
  • Perform cycle counts
  • Perform miscellaneous other materials activities
  • Expedite material shortages for production floor with Purchasing
  • Support ECO changes and cut-in strategies for changes
  • Provide build kits to the production floor
  • Support training of co-workers
  • Support material needs for shipments
  • May be assigned other tasks as needed
