In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing materials for use in structures, systems, and subsystems on major production programs, driving innovation in the aerospace industry. What You Will Be Doing Your responsibilities will include: Developing and optimizing materials and surface treatment solutions for engineering applications. Performing failure analyses, life prediction modeling, and material property development to support reliability goals. Authoring clear technical documentation and contributing data packages for design reviews and customer deliverables. Collaborating with cross functional teams—including product development, analysis groups, and production – to translate requirements into manufacturable solutions. Supporting test planning, execution, and results interpretation to validate material performance. Mentoring junior engineers and sharing best practices across the organization.
