About The Position

Our Butler, Pennsylvania location is in need of Material and Trailer Coordinator to manage trailer movement and material staging for the resins department. Ensures accurate inventory tracking, efficient material transfers, and timely documentation to support operations and customer needs. Safely operates a yard truck to position and move trailers in line with site safety standards and daily operational demands.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong and effective communication skills, with proficiency in reading, writing, and basic math
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient in Windows-based software, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Accurate computer data entry skills
  • Exhibits initiative, accountability, sound judgment, and leadership potential
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • CDL experience and knowledge of trailer systems
  • Understanding of material types and transfer systems related to JSP products
  • 5+ years of manufacturing or production experience
  • Familiarity with resin transfer systems
  • 1–2 years of experience in the resins department
  • 1–3 years of experience operating a yard truck

Responsibilities

  • Safely move trailers in and out of the plant, ensuring all shipping documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Inspect, maintain, and operate the yard truck to support safe, efficient operations.
  • Track and update trailer inventory, including status, quantities, and locations.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with Logistics and Customer Service to meet delivery timelines.
  • Transfer materials using automated systems while communicating with Operators on shared equipment use.
  • Prioritize trailer movements and material handling based on Supervisor direction and production needs.
  • Support packaging operations, including cleaning, loading/unloading, and basic equipment troubleshooting.
  • Monitor material transfer systems and help resolve issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies and operational concerns promptly.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and perform other duties as needed.
