About The Position

Material Specialist Lead Responsible for ensuring the jobsite has an adequate and timely flow of materials and equipment. A construction material specialist lead must be a well-organized individual able to multitask. You should possess great communication skills and ability to solve problems. Experience in project management will be very useful as knowledge of basic purchasing and technical principles. Other duties may be assigned. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Performs Goods Receipts and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles purchase orders, materials and vendor packing lists Ensure required materials are properly inspected by appropriate party Kit materials in support of planned maintenance activities (Work orders). Monitor maintenance work schedule and deliver kits to assigned location per the Thursday prior to the start of work. Conduct monthly review of staged kits for cancelled work orders/ kits no longer needed and aging in-process kits. Reports, documents and tracks discrepant receivables Contact and coordinate discrepancy receipts with Buyers and Vendors Label, stage and stock materials to proper locations Perform Goods Issues for material reservations as required by plant Coordinate Material Delivery to appropriate drop spots Perform cycle counts and reconcile differences to ensure inventory accuracy Prepare materials and shipping documents for outbound shipments Perform Monthly Team Inspections for Warehouse facilities Backup resource for GTP Orange site Facilities Hazmat Shipping process 49 CFR certified. Backup to PMI process Store stock material PM's (Gears, pumps, etc. add lubricants etc.) Pick materials for SAP reservations Participate in set-up and organization of new warehouse at GTP site. Requirements

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. Austin is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.
  • Experience – 3-5 years of experience.
