SummaryThe Materials and Services Coordinator will support construction and maintenance projects by coordinating material logistics and assisting with inventory accuracy. Your work ensures timely delivery and helps prevent project delays.

Requirements

  • Basic Technical Skills: Familiarity with inventory or material management processes is a plus.
  • Customer Focused : Ability to communicate effectively and have strong customer service with teams when ordering material, working through processes and follow up.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Working knowledge of construction practices/standards/specifications,
  • APS accounting and inventory principles, procedures/systems as well as knowledge of EMAN, MLIS, MAXIMO, Power Plant and MS Office products.
  • Must be able to interface and communicate effectively with people.
  • Requires a familiarity of the materials and equipment utilized in the assigned functional area.
  • This position may require access to and/or use of information subject to control under the Department of Energys Part 810 Regulations (10 CFR Part 810), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR Parts 730 through 774), or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR Chapter I, Subchapter M Part 120 ) (collectively, U.S. Export Control Laws). Therefore, this position requires applicants to be a U.S. person, which is defined as a U.S. Citizen, a U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), a Political Asylee, or a Refugee under the U.S. Export Control Laws. All applicants for this position will be required to confirm their U.S. person status. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and Schedule: Manage ordering, scheduling, and delivery of materials for construction and maintenance projects.
  • Prevent Delays: Identify shortages and special material requirements to keep projects moving without interruptions.
  • Track and Document: Prepare documentation to monitor costs, discrepancies, and special needs.
  • Verify and Reconcile: Assist in analyzing and reconciling materials and major equipment to ensure accurate quantities and cost tracking.
  • Administrative Support: Perform various office-related duties as assigned to support team operations.
