About The Position

As a Material Readiness Training and Planning Facilitator, you will have the opportunity to provide senior-level advisory and execution support for materiel readiness training programs in direct support of I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). This role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering sustainment and readiness training related to logistics systems, maintenance management, and materiel accountability. The position supports commanders, staff, and subordinate units by ensuring training programs align with Marine Corps policy, readiness objectives, and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in materiel readiness, maintenance management, or logistics training within a DoD environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering logistics or maintenance training programs.
  • Extensive familiarity with Marine Corps logistics and maintenance management systems (e.g., GCSS-MC).
  • Strong instructional, facilitation, and advisory skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and training documentation tools.
  • Ability to work independently and interface with senior military leadership.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting MEF-level or Service-level logistics training programs.
  • Experience operating or supporting Materiel Readiness Training Centers (MRTC).
  • Background in readiness reporting, data analytics, or sustainment metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert for materiel readiness and maintenance management training in support of I MEF.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver materiel readiness training programs supporting operational and sustainment requirements.
  • Develop, update, and maintain training curricula, schedules, and supporting materials related to logistics and maintenance systems.
  • Provide instruction and facilitation for logistics and maintenance management systems, including GCSS-MC, in classroom and simulated training environments.
  • Coordinate with Training and Education Command (TECOM), Major Subordinate Commands, and staff sections to align training objectives and delivery.
  • Analyze training outcomes and readiness data to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Advise commanders and staff on materiel readiness policy, maintenance management processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics used to monitor maintenance readiness and program performance.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision while providing senior-level advisory input to leadership.
