About The Position

Raytheon Company is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager to join the A dvanced Technology ( AT ) Team . The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this highly visible role, you’ll be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program t eam s . You’ll create and execute Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure the flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure . This position supports a product development effort that requires the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment. This position is an onsite role.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration , Finance, Supply Chain Management or related.
  • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Ability to support complex product development efforts.
  • Excellent reporting/communication skills.
  • Experience in a matrixed organizational structure.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
  • Planning and executing sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where process.
  • Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments ( Flow Down Attachment ) and/or Modifications (TCMs).
  • Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs ), and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes.
  • Generating and processing Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests.
  • Driving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management.
  • Participating in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance.
