The Standard Missile portfolio here at Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM), to support Production Assurance efforts within the Naval Standard Missile Systems Production (NSMS) area of Naval Power to be located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. Production Assurance ensures the future success of franchise NSMS production programs via proposal support, the cut in of new assemblies & designs into current production configurations, the execution of lifetime buys, and the execution of investments in our supply base to grow or ensure production capacity. As a Material Program Manager, you’ll bring your skills to RTX to solve problems for the Production Assurance team. Working closely with our internal cross functional team and external stakeholders, you’ll play a critical role in solving supply chain problems. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communications skills to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one’s own job function as well as with parties external to the organization and company. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, budgeting and financial management, along with issue and conflict resolution.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University degree and minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • Supply chain experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Security Clearance: Secret - Current

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with suppliers
  • Experience with Six Sigma methodology (CORE) and/or tools such as lean manufacturing, diagnostic, process optimization and continuous improvement
  • Production assurance experience
  • Experience with Special Access Programs and Office 365
  • Aerospace / Defense experience
