Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager to support the Mission Solutions & Payloads portfolio in the Air & Space Defense Systems strategic business unit. This position is responsible for the coordination and execution of all material strategies and plans in support of program execution. The Material Program Manager (MPM) is a strong leader with demonstrated project management skills and will be directly accountable for ensuring overall supplier performance. The candidate must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, including supplier management. Additionally, this position requires an individual who will be able to exert influence and have an effect on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the program and the program IPT team. The ideal candidate will ensure cohesive alignment with supply chain and enterprise objectives. Additionally, they will serve as the liaison between the Program Manager, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), other functional stakeholders, and the Supply Chain organization. Responsibilities will span from the front end of the business supply chain activities through contract closure. NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment in this role will only be extended if the program is awarded to the Mission Solutions & Payloads portfolio.
