Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) to support the StormBreaker program in Tucson, Arizona. The MPM will participate in the development and execution of a material program strategy/plan for a program or integrated product team, with an emphasis on supplier management for production needs.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Minimum 4 years experience working in a supply chain role.
  • Experience with material requirements planning (MRP) processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Material Planning role.
  • Experience working in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with advanced Supply Chain Planning tools (e.g., Kinaxis RapidResponse).

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards related to MRP planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, and other next-generation ERP systems).
  • Complete Master Data, MRP Scheduling, and Capacity Planning.
  • Maintain and assess the integrity of the MRP environment and the program schedule within that environment.
  • Balance supply and demand to create and maintain executable schedules.
  • Manage conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations, and with suppliers.
  • Perform financial planning, Sales, EACs and Earned Value Management.
  • Own the supplier management process to include Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, and international issues.
  • Develop and evaluate the make/buy strategy, and the collaborative agreement process.
  • Communicate customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
  • Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM).
  • Work front end of the business to identify and secure Supply Chain resources to support the capture plan.
  • Manage the Supply Chain content of the proposal pipeline.
