About The Position

You will be the Material & Process Asc Mgr for the Engineering team which is responsible for driving material and process development across metallic, non‑metallic, composite, and hazardous material domains. What You Will Be Doing As the Material & Process Asc Mgr you will be responsible for leading a high‑performing team that delivers innovative material and process solutions on schedule. Your responsibilities will include: Directly supervising entry‑ and mid‑level engineers and technicians in material and process development activities. Providing hands‑on guidance and intervening when necessary to keep projects on track and solve technical challenges. Coordinating with peers and senior managers to align priorities, share progress, and integrate feedback. Overseeing development and qualification of metallic, non-metallic, composite, and hazardous material processes. Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the development lifecycle. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience in material and process engineering requirements, applications, testing, and specifications
  • Experience with Cost Account Management and Earned Value
  • Experience with LM Aero M&PE tools and systems
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

  • Experience with technical writing and reports
  • Experience delivering presentations and briefings to leadership
  • Engineering Leadership Development or Advanced Technical Leadership Development
