Adjust feeds, speeds, and guides to handle varying materials and dimensions. Champion safety practices and keep a tidy, organized workstation. Coordinate with the crew to boost production efficiency. Log output and escalate equipment or quality concerns to your supervisor. What helps you succeed High school diploma or equivalent. Background as a saw operator or similar role (preferred). Keen eye for detail and strong measurement skills. Basic mechanical know-how and comfort with saw equipment. Self-starter who also thrives in a team setting.
