In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, including Sales in Excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Each day, you will support internal customer service inquiries. You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders. The work model for the role is: on site Athens, TN

Requirements

  • BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience preferred in supply chain management
  • Expertise with spreadsheets, databases and specialized inventory management software is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, maintain detailed records and ensure accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to accurately track inventory and identify discrepancies.
  • Clear and effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and present findings to management.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast future inventory needs based on historical data, sales forecasts, and market trends to anticipate demand.
  • Develop and implement procedures to optimize stock levels, ensuring they meet customer demand while minimizing waste.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with suppliers, managing forecasts and addressing critical supply and delivery issues.
  • Analyze inventory and sales data to identify trends, monitor performance metrics and provide reports to management for decision-making
  • Conduct regular audits and physical inventory counts to verify stock accuracy and compliance with procedures.
  • Develops plans to ensure all raw material requirements for production are met, managing orders and supplier ship requirements.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with suppliers, managing forecasts and addressing critical supply and delivery issues.
