Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in material planning or supply chain management within the automotive industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable plans.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage supplier relationships.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment in a fast-paced setting.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP).

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain effective inventory strategies to ensure optimal levels of materials are available for production schedules.
Analyze production forecasts and adjust material orders as necessary to meet changes in demand while minimizing excess inventory.
Collaborate with suppliers to confirm delivery requirements and negotiate terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.
Monitor supply chain metrics and develop improvement plans to address potential issues in the procurement process.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations and clear communication.
Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory levels, supplier performance, and material usage trends.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
