Material Operator (New Ulm, MN) We offer: Competitive pay starting at $26.05 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential for afternoon or midnight shift. Here, you will make an impact by: Operate powered industrial vehicle (PIV). Transport materials between buildings. Plan, set up and supply production lines with materials needed. Work with the production team to plan ahead and schedule the flow of raw materials in/out of the department. Perform quality audits and pallet verification checks. Operate equipment in a safe manner. Follow plant and department safety rules and practices. Work closely with other operators and service groups to optimize the process. Computer use is required. Meet performance/output goals.

Requirements

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start).
  • Possess a current and valid Class D driver’s license.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to obtain and sustain PIV license
  • Ability to obtain medical certification
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment including cube truck, sit down and stand-up forklifts
  • Ability to lift/carry heavy materials.
  • Ability to comprehend, understand, and apply written and verbal directions from standard operating procedures, safety rules and supervisor coaching.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment in accordance with safety rules.
