Spirit Airlines is looking for a Material Logistics Specialist to join their Material Operations team. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess material handling experience in a warehouse setting, must be comfortable with computers, and general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. The individual will be responsible for processing aircraft parts requests and logistics movements to support the Technical Operations team. This includes performing shipping, receiving, and stocking of materials, as well as maintaining accurate stock levels to guarantee materials availability needed for maintenance events and prevent service disruptions due to parts shortages. The role also involves preparing dangerous goods declarations, packing dangerous goods shipments, and tendering them for 3rd party transport on Spirit Airlines' behalf. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, self-driven, reliable, professional, polite, attentive, and accurate, with a genuine desire to meet the needs of others. At Spirit, the team lives by "More Fly," encouraging big thinking, action, connections, and enjoyment while redefining travel. Team members receive travel perks, are empowered to bring their full selves to work, grow personally and professionally, and fuel the communities served.
