Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory software (SAP or similar ERP) and barcode systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Basic math and analytical skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Accuracy & Control
  • Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • System Management
  • Use ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) to track inventory.
  • Enter and update inventory data in real-time.
  • Generate reports for inventory status, usage trends, and forecasting.
  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure material availability.
  • Communicate inventory issues or delays to relevant departments.
  • Support audits and compliance efforts.
  • Process Improvement
  • Identify inefficiencies in inventory processes and suggest improvements.
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives and 5S practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Safety & Compliance
  • Follow safety protocols when handling materials.
  • Ensure hazardous materials are stored and documented properly.
  • Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
