Reimagine What’s Possible We are seeking a Material Handling Technician to support the packing, shipping, and receiving operations at our brand‑new St. Louis, Missouri manufacturing facility. This role supports Air Products’ PRISM® Membrane Solutions business, a global leader in hollow fiber membrane technology for on‑site gas separation and generation. PRISM® membrane separators are used worldwide in applications such as nitrogen generation, biogas upgrading, hydrogen recovery, aerospace, marine, and industrial manufacturing—delivering reliable, low‑maintenance solutions that help customers improve operational efficiency and support cleaner energy applications. The position is based at Air Products’ expanding manufacturing and logistics center near St. Louis, Missouri, a site that plays a critical role in producing PRISM® membrane products for customers around the world. Air Products has made significant recent investments to grow this facility, reinforcing a long‑term commitment to the St. Louis region through advanced manufacturing, stable jobs, and continued expansion of U.S.‑based production capabilities. Team members at this site contribute directly to building high‑quality products that support emerging energy, industrial, and transportation markets. As a member of the Supply Chain Management team, you will help support our customers by receiving product for manufacturing, inventory management activities, and preparing customer orders for shipment. You will be responsible for movement of raw materials/components finished goods inventories, preparing products for customer orders, loading/unloading trucks, and other tasks to support the team’s functions. This position requires significant amounts of: Lifting, Bending, Moving and Standing, as well as operating equipment such as a forklift.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Microsoft Office and SAP experience preferred
  • Good overall communication skills
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift in confined or narrow spaces.
  • Forklift certification preferred; certification will be provided for qualified candidates if not already obtained
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to climb ladders and steps
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Ability to tolerate significant amounts of lifting, bending, moving and standing

  • Associates degree in a technical field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Stock incoming materials in Warehouse, Stores and point-of-use (POU) locations
  • Assist in Kanban management, stock rotation, Kanban card and bin management
  • Package products for shipment
  • Load/unload trucks using forklift
  • Assist with management of boxed/crated inventory to fulfill customer orders
  • Assist with finished goods and component cycle counts
  • General housekeeping and safety tasks in the area
  • Complete inventory movements within SAP
