About The Position

Job Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in material movement or handling, receiving, loading, unloading, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining stock in a storeroom or warehouse. Review shipping or receiving orders and requests for movement of materials and products. Essential Responsibilities/Activities: Provides the highest level of customer service to the Production team to maximize company success. Hires and trains staff, communicates job expectations, and implements company policies and procedures. Develops schedules and assigns work to team members to ensure efficient flow of inventory from the warehouse to the production floor. Reviews and approves hours worked on a reoccurring basis. Evaluates inventory organization for most efficient space utilization and makes recommendations to improve processes. Oversees the efficient sorting, maintaining, and staging of products. Maintains accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and/or daily checks. Ensures inventory is appropriately labeled and placed in the accurate bin locations. Ensures forklift safety inspections are completed. Supervises salvage of damaged or used material and that appropriate action is taken. Logs non-conforming product and verifies returned goods.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and 5 years of warehouse or storeroom supervisor experience.
  • AAON Forklift Certification
  • Demonstrates strong leadership abilities.
  • Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Presents a strong, confident, and decisive personality.
  • Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and excellent organizational skills.
  • Works effectively in a team environment.
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
  • Lift up to 50lbs.
  • Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
  • Seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
